WE WILL BE USING AMB RC4 DECODERS ALONG WITH LIVETIME SCORING SYSTEM
ALL AMB/MYLAPS 2 AND 3 WIRE TRANSPONDERS WILL WORK
NO DRIVING ENHANCEMENT DEVICES SUCH AS GYROS, ATX RC TURNED ON OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR DEVICE IS ALLOWED IN ANY CLASS.

SC MODIFIED:
Must be a SC Based Chassis
Carbon fiber chassis allowed. Must meet the following specs.
All suspension components, transmission, front and rear bulkheads must be on center line of the vehicle.
All larger volume OEM Chassis are legal IE “AE,TLR,Traxxas”
Aftermarket or specifically built chassis and kits must conform to the following specifications.
Maximum Chassis width 7”
Minimum Chassis width 5 1/8”
Maximum left side of chassis can be from centerline is 3 1/2”
Right side must be a minimum of 2.25” from centerline to outside edge of chassis.
Cages: Must represent a cage, no solid plastic cages, must be cut the same on both sides.
Minimum wheelbase 12.5”
Maximum wheelbase 13.5”
Shock bodies min length 1”
Front Track width Min 11.42” *UPDATED TO MEET ROAR SPECS*
Front track width Max 11.65” *UPDATED TO MEET ROAR SPECS*
Front Suspension arms must be equal size left and right
Rear Suspension arms must be equal size left and right
Adjustable Rear Suspension arms are allowed.
Battery must be mounted on the centerline of the vehicle. Can be either designed front to back or sideways across the chassis but center of battery must be on centerline of chassis.

SC BODY RULES:
Body Length, Width, and Height:
13″ max body width
28″ max length (bumper to spoiler)
7.5″ max body height measured from bottom of chassis
Center deck:
1″ max deck rake.
1″ max center deck taper (widest point of the deck can only be 1″ wider than the narrowest point of deck)
Spoiler:
1.5″ max spoiler height
Spoiler end plate max 2” high off center deck and 3.25” long
Roof:
0.5″ max roof rake measured from deck
Maximum Roof width 9″
Maximum Roof length 9″
No roof spoilers, a bend down at the trailing edge of the roof is allowed for strength
Roof side rails allowed but must have a scale appearance and be on both the left and right sides of the roof.
1/4″ bend down at the leading edge of the roof allowed.
Roll cage/Roof Supports:
Roll cage/roof supports must be cut or formed to resemble a roll cage. No solid panel roof supports. Window netting and rock guards are allowed.
Nose:
Nose sides can extend a max of 1/4” above the plane of the nose panel
Nose sides can extend a max of 1/4” above the plane of the hood panel
Nose cannot extend past the inner edges of the front wheels
Main nose panel must be a flat plane. No concave or scooped noses allowed.
Rear wheel wells must be cut out to expose most of the rear wheel
Left and right windows and sails can be open as long as both sides are the same.

Chassis Allowed:
Traxxas Slash only no LCG SLASH . Yes I do know there are many other manufacturers out there, but the kits we have listed you can find very inexpensive as used trucks and make for the perfect way to join this class.
SPEC SLASH ( also RUM RUNNER)

BATTERY
· Any ROAR approved 2 cell, 7.4volt LiPo Battery. 5000 MAH max hard case
· Any battery with labels missing, unreadable or appear to have been tampered with
or altered will not be allowed.
BODY
· Must run the body as manufactured. Most any body will be allowed it just needs to be a full body with no open wheels. No modification allowed. Example stock slash body, , street stock or full wheel enclosed body…..etc. Example of full body click here

· Only TRAXXS stock compound tires may be used, and must be mounted on Genuine TRAXXAS Wheel with stock inserts.
· Kit RTR Tires and pre mounted and pre-mounts are suggested. S1 compound is not permitted.

NON ADJUSTABLE ITEMS
· All chassis’ must be raced is stock configuration, unless noted above. If it does not specifically say that you CAN do it, assume that you cannot.
· All components must remain stock EXCEPT the RPM parts for durability
· Legal RPM parts include Caster Blocks #80712, Steering Blocks #80372, and Rear Hubs #80382
Final rule: If it does not say you can do it. You cannot . We need an inexpensive, simple class to welcome new racers to the RC Gold Cup and local race tracks and our hope is this will be the class to make that happen.
LATE MODEL:
DODC National Rules – All Late Model, Dirt Modified, Mid-West Modified and Sprint Car bodies and cages must resemble contemporary full scale cars racing in “World of Outlaws” and “DIRT” sanctioned events. All corners of bodies and wings must be rounded for safety. All height measurements are from bottom of chassis unless otherwise noted.Molded portion of body can be no longer than 22”. An under body support may be added to brace each rear quarter panel, but must hold it in stock position, cannot be flared out. No additional wings, flaps, spoilers, wickers, vents or doohickeys will be allowed. Body may not be altered in any way from its stock configuration ie: shortened, lengthened, narrowed, flared fenders etc. Front and rear windows may be removed at trim lines but a flat Lexan or similar material deck must be added in cockpit area. Bodies with add on roofs may leave front and rear windows in or out but roofs must be mounted in stock position. All four wheel wells must be cut out to appropriate scale dimensions.
•Rear Spoiler: maximum chord from body deck including any wickerbills: 2.00″ for Foam/Street Rubber Tire 2.50″ for Buggy Tire

STREET STOCK:
CHASSIS RULES:
Any 1/10th scale buggy. Must be a factory based off-road buggy.
Approved manufacturers are Associated, Losi, Traxxas, Kyosho, Durango, Team C, Xray, Yokomo, Hobao H2.
Chassis must remain stock, no aftermarket/non-oem upgrades except RPM Brand parts desinged for the chassis.
OEM Option parts sold by these companies desiged for their cars are allowed.
Big Bore and threaded OEM Shocks are allowed.
SPRINGS: They can be from any manufacturer in the RC Industry not only OEM.
Rear wheel drive only.
Mid or rear motor allowed.
Adjustable rear A arms are NOT allowed.

· Stadium 2.9 tires ok
SC Late Model BODY
· Must look like real Late model body
· Body must cover both rear wheels, but must expose the entire tire, No skirting/shielding of the rear tire
· Front wheels must be completley covered.
· Max body dimensions: Width 13” Height 8”
· Max overall length of body including spoiler 26.50”.
· All bodies must have a number on the roof and on both drivers and passenger side door.
BUMPERS
· Rear bumpers re required
· Front bumper is highly recommended. If no bumper is used, then the front nose must not be a sharp or pointy object and must be able to absorb contact.
· You are able to fabricate your own body if you’d like but let’s stay within the spirit of realistic
looking bodies without crazy aero.
FRONT SPOILERS & WINGS
· Front nose may have dams on L & R or any single side .400” high .250 kick in any angle .650” Max Height
· Top of nose attached to hood, a wicker bill may be .150” max allowed. (Any kick Angle)
REAR SPOILERS & WINGS
· Read Deck spoiler may have a .25” maximum kick up or down allowed
· Rear spoiler allowed, not to exceeding 1.75” of the deck
· End caps allowed, may run center support brace
· End caps may be NO larger than 1.5” x 3” allowed.
CHASSIS
· May use original manufacturer Short Course chassis or any designed chassis for this class will be allowed
· Electronics can be mounted on the left within the main chassis plate only. (not near laft edge of chassis)
· 4WD chassis allowed, must remove the front drive shaft & half shaft and battery must be in stock location.
· After market shocks & springs allowed
· Motor may be mid or rear motor only if original manufacturer designed it to be changed
· Any Rear toe allowed.
MOTOR/ESC/BATTERY
· Any ROAR approved 540 size motor 2 pole or 4 pole motor sensored or sensorless
· Any ROAR approved ESC can be used in any mode (Blinky or Open Timing)
· Any ROAR approve 2S LiPo battery in a manufactured hard case from the manufacturer.
